As any reader of this blog knows, MIT economist jonathan gruber – a Democrat favorite (at least until now) – is on record as believing Americans are stupid.
Do his fellow Democrats share that view?
Well, let\’s think about this:
-We know that ObamaCare was intentionally written – evidently with the consent of President Obama – in a misleading way, because it was felt that if voters knew the truth about what it is and what it does, they would oppose it so vigorously that it could never pass through congress. He specifically tells us this was because we are stupid.
-We know that Democrats claim a voter ID requirement would suppress the Black vote – even though they have no problem at all for the same kind of ID being used in countless ways, big and small, throughout our everyday lives, and even though a claim like this implicitly suggests Black people, as a group, are less capable than White people to get an ID, thus are inferior to Whites – a position which, I am sure, warms the heart of every KKK member. Does that suggest they think we are stupid?
-We know that most Democrats support President Obama\’s intention to unilaterally grant legal status to millions of illegal aliens. But they apparently think we are incapable of understanding that these newly minted “legals” are going to take jobs which could have been filled by legal citizens…and that those jobs will disproportionately be lost by minority communities. Does that suggest they think we are stupid?
Y\’know what? One time is happenstance. Twice is coincidence.
But three or more times? Yes they think we are stupid.
And the saddest part is how many of us they are right about.
