You want ugly? Here\’s ugly.
First we have Vinita Hegwood, a schoolteacher in Texas, who takes exception to people who believe that Michael Brown, the young man shot and killed by Officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri, is anything but a choir boy, and Wilson is anything but a murderer.
Here, according to William Bigelow\’s article at breitbart.com, is what she tweeted – which apparently is getting her fired:
“Whothe fuck made you dumb duck ass crackers think I give a squat fuckabout your opinions about my opinions RE: #Ferguson? Killyourselves.”
I will assume you agree that this is ugly stuff. And using that term “crackers” makes it pretty clear that Hegwood\’s profanities are aimed at White people.
But, though racist, that is not the racism I am blogging about.
The racism I am blogging about is from some of the “enlightened” folks who thought it would be a good idea to comment on this story. Here is just a sampling:

“She\’sblack. Probably still in shock for being held accountable”
And there\’s plenty more where that came from.
These racist pigs leave Vinita Hegwood in the dust. She is not a problem for them, she is an opportunity to pump out their own racial hatred, and fantasize that Hegwood\’s tweet is a valid excuse for it.
They make her look good by comparison.
Real racism. It comes in all forms, from all sources. No group is immune to it, or from it. Certainly not a teacher who has no business being around children, and certainly not a bunch of racist morons who love her for giving them a chance to be even worse than she is.
