OBAMA & GOLFING: YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS STUFF UP

Yesterday, on Meet The Press, President Obama expressed second thoughts – not an apology or regrets, mind you, but second thoughts, about the propriety of going golfing immediately after speaking, for all of three minutes, about the ISIS beheading of US journalist James Foley.

His exact words, as reported at USA Today:

“There\’sno doubt that – after having talked to the families, where it washard for me to hold back tears listening to the pain that they weregoing through, after the statement that I made, that you know, Ishould\’ve anticipated the optics. You know, that\’s part of the job.

“Butpart of this job is also the theater of it. It\’s not something thatalways comes naturally to me. But it matters. And I\’m mindful ofthat”

Got that? He was so broken up, that he didn\’t consider the “theater of it”. What a guy.

In case you want a hint of how broken up President Obama was, here is a picture of him on that day. Please note how teary-eyed he was:

How sad. All that uncontrolled sobbing.

But wait.  There\’s more.

I\’ll give you one guess:  what did President Obama do immediately after voicing his crocodile-tear contrition on Meet the Press about the optics of going out to play golf ?

Yep, you guessed it.

According to politico.com, “And after finishing, the interview) the president quickly headed to Fort Belvoir, Virginia, for an afternoon of golf …”

Is it possible for this man to be more tone-deaf?

You cannot make this stuff up.  And why would you want to?
