WILL HILLARY CLINTON PLEASE JUST SHUT UP AND GO AWAY (CONT.)

Dear God, what does it take for Hillary Clinton to just shut up and go away?

The latest reason I ask relates to the comments she made last night in Little Rock, Arkansas, at an event commemorating the 25th anniversary of Hubby Bubba’s election.

With Bill no-doubt proudly sitting by, Ms. Clinton had this to say:

“Apparently, you know, my former opponent is obsessed with my speaking out. Apparently there was another, somebody told me, tweet today. Honestly, between tweeting and golfing, how does he get anything done? I don’t understand it. Maybe that’s the whole point.”

Maybe I’m missing something, but aren’t Donald Trump’s tweets almost always reactions to things Hillary Clinton has said about him over the past year?  Aren’t they, therefore, spurred by her obsession with him rather than the other way around?

This is not to say that I am in any way enamored of Mr. Trump’s penchant for tweeting.  While I understand that he considers it – with considerable justification – to be an effective way of getting his positions out without distortion by what he considers the “fake news” media,  the tweets themselves are very often silly, vindictive, and factually incorrect.

If ever a man was his own worst enemy, Donald Trump on twitter is today’s gold standard.

But Hillary Clinton, who has not stopped whining about her election loss and blaming everyone/everything but the fact that she was an astonishingly lousy candidate, complaining about it?  That is pathetic.

There has got to be some way, somehow, that someone can convince Hillary Clinton to just shut up and go away.

May it happen sooner rather than later?
