FRANKEN SENSE AND MOORE (CONT.)

As promised, here is the picture of Al Franken sexually molesting the woman referenced in my previous blog – her name is Leeann Tweeden.  And Franken is not denying that this happened either, he is just chalking it up as a stupid prank.

Next, we have the video of Franken’s beyond-tasteless “jokes” about Carl Reiner and his friends raping Rob Reiner when he was a baby:

And, finally, click here for Ms. Tweeden’s in-her-own-words account of what a repulsive sexual predator Franken was, including forcing his tongue down her throat on the pretext that he was “rehearsing” a comedy skit.

The key segment:

On the day of the show Franken and I were alone backstage going over our lines one last time. He said to me, “We need to rehearse the kiss.” I laughed and ignored him. Then he said it again. I said something like, ‘Relax Al, this isn’t SNL…we don’t need to rehearse the kiss.’

He continued to insist, and I was beginning to get uncomfortable.

He repeated that actors really need to rehearse everything and that we must practice the kiss. I said ‘OK’ so he would stop badgering me. We did the line leading up to the kiss and then he came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth.

I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldn’t be so nice about it the next time.

I walked away. All I could think about was getting to a bathroom as fast as possible to rinse the taste of him out of my mouth.

I felt disgusted and violated.

That, folks, is Al Franken.  The United States Senator from Minnesota.

Now I will ask again, as I did in the previous blog, that you compare Franken’s behavior – with pictorial and video proof – to what Roy Moore has been accused of:  i.e. allegations of groping with no actual proof that any of it ever happened.

Have you done so?  Good,.  Now, keeping in mind that Democrats and Republicans both are calling for Moore to essentially disappear into a black hole and never come out again, I am asking you to decide whether Al Franken’s behavior is at least as bad, maybe a great deal worse – and to think about what punishment Al Franken should be expected to receive.

If Roy Moore should take a permanent hike, and never sit one day in the US Senate, what should Franken do?

I have a feeling that, for this one, most of us are on the same page.
