THE HILLARY POLITICOGISM

Everyone know what a syllogism is?  For those who do not, it is a simple, three sentence construction consisting of a general statement, a specific example and a conclusion.  Like so:

Cars have steering wheels.

Honda Accords are cars.

Honda Accords have steering wheels.

Well, there is another kind of three sentence construction which, having just made it up and therefore being free to call it what I like, is henceforth known as a politicogism.  Rather than try to explain it, let me give you an example:

The FBI believes Democrat Hillary Clinton broke the law

The Democrat Obama administration does not want Hillary Clinton held to account for breaking the law

The Democrat Obama administration is doing whatever it can to avoid Hillary Clinton from being held to account for breaking the law.

Excerpted from Charles Gasparino’s article in the New York Post:

FBI chief James Comey and his investigators are increasingly certain presidential nominee Hillary Clinton violated laws in handling classified government information through her private e-mail server, career agents say.

Some expect him to push for charges, but he faces a formidable obstacle: the political types in the Obama White House who view a Clinton presidency as a third Obama term.

With that, agents have been spreading the word, largely through associates in the private sector, that their boss is getting stonewalled, despite uncovering compelling evidence Clinton broke the law.

“You don’t start granting people close to Clinton immunity unless you are seriously looking at charges against your target,” one former official told me.

Does this in any way surprise you?  If so, you need a remedial course in three political areas:  Clinton politics, Obama politics and Democrat politics.

At this point you might answer by saying ” Don’t be hypocritical about this, Republicans would do – have done – the exact same thing.”

And I would agree with you, too.  But there is one major difference, and it is a huge one.  Media complicity.

Mainstream media are providing as little material on this scandal – and it is an immense scandal; one which leaves Watergate in the dust – as they can get away with.

If it were a Republican Secretary of State, in a Republican administration, whose illegal actions gave our enemies a four year open window to see all our secrets, would they be doing the same?  We both know the answer to that one, don’t we?

If media are not apprising the public of how big this scandal is and how the investigation is moving, how will they know?  And, as it has been said countless times, if it is not reported, it is not news.  Ask your friends about where the email investigation is – see if they can do anything but recite a newspaper headline or two, if even that.

If we had serious, neutral media people would be far better informed about this than they are…and far angrier about it.

Lucky for Democrats that we don’t.  And too bad for the rest of us.
