As I sit here, in the customer lounge of a car dealership waiting for my oil change to be completed, the TV is tuned to CNN, during an “interview” conducted by Chris Cuomo – brother of Democrat New York Governor Andrew and son of Democrat former New York Governor Mario – with Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, regarding the flood of illegal aliens coming into the United States..
If Chris Cuomo\’s lineage suggests to you that he may be a bit less than evenhanded when it comes to political issues, you have a point. And the “interview” with Kris Kobach is living, breathing proof.
I will hold off on the specifics until I get my hands on a transcript. But what I can tell you now is that Cuomo did not ask Kobach questions, he fired volleys. Not one question in the interview was neutral – every one was a hardline Democrat position, asked in a skeptical, even sarcastic, way, which forced Kobach, instead of simply answering a series of questions, to respond in defensive terms.
I\’ll also tell you that Mr. Kobach was more than up to this onslaught. His responses were terrific.
As soon as I have that transcript, I\’ll show you how he did it – and why Chris Cuomo should be ashamed of his lack of journalistic integrity.
