Question #1: How many times have you heard Democrats use the term “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” to describe what they want, and what they accuse Republicans of blocking?
Personally, I\’ve lost count.
Question #2: Have you ever heard any Democrat explain what, specifically, this term means – I don\’t mean a general “we want fairness for all” blather that sounds great and tells you nothing, I mean specifically what “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” is supposed to entail?
Personally I can\’t count that one at all, since I\’ve never heard even one politician, Democrat or Republican (yes, there are some Republicans aligning with Democrats on this) give me that explanation. And I don\’t expect any of them to do so any time soon.
If ObamaCare taught us anything, it is that no one should ever agree to buying “a pig in a poke” – i.e. agreeing to something without knowing what it is.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform” could not be a more perfect example of when that adage should be applied.
