Did Hillary Clinton “bristle” over President Obama\’s claim that the Benghazi massacre was not a terrorist attack, but a spontaneous reaction to an obscure video tape…..and then go along with the lie because it would enhance her prospects for the 2016 Democrat presidential nomination?
According to Edward Klein\’s new book, Blood Feud, which chronicles the contentious relationship between Mr. Obama and the Clintons, that is exactly what happened.

“Hillarywas stunned when she heard the president talk about the Benghaziattack,” one of her top legal advisers said in an interview. “Obamawanted her to say that the attack had been a spontaneousdemonstration triggered by an obscure video on the Internet thatdemeaned the Prophet Mohammed.”
Thisadviser continued: “Hillary told Obama, \’Mr. President, thatstory isn\’t credible. Among other things, it ignores the fact thatthe attack occurred on 9/11.\’ But the president was adamant. Hesaid, \’Hillary, I need you to put out a State Department release assoon as possible.\'”
“Thatstory won\’t hold up,” Bill said. “I know,” Hillary said. “Itold the president that.” “It\’s an impossible story,” Billsaid. “I can\’t believe the president is claiming it wasn\’tterrorism. Then again, maybe I can. It looks like Obama isn\’t goingto allow anyone to say that terrorism has occurred on his watch.”
Obamahad put Hillary in a corner, and she and Bill didn\’t see a way out.And so, shortly after 10 o\’clock on the night of September 11, shereleased an official statement that blamed the Benghazi attack on an”inflammatory (video) posted on the Internet.”
TheBenghazi Deception was in full swing.
Is this true? Does Klein have it right about how Hillary Clinton became a parrot for the Obama lie about that video? We\’ll never know for sure. But here is what we do know:
-The massacre occurred on 9/11 – the day of terrorism\’s greatest “success” against the United States, thus the day they would most like to strike again;
-Despite this, there was neither a high alert in Benghazi, nor, apparently, any contingency plans if events necessitated protection of the Benghazi compound;
-After the attack took place, President Obama, and his people, told us – for weeks – that it was due to a video made by someone in California who had nothing to do with the United States government (and has been lying ever since by claiming he immediately defined it as a terrorist attack – does this man ever tell the truth about anything?);
-And, instead of speaking honestly, a calculated decision was made by the Clintons to back him up on it.
Bottom line: if this is true, it demonstrates – again – that we have an inept, lying President and an inept, lying former Secretary of State who aspires to be President.
Assuming Ms. Clinton does run (a bigger and bigger “if” every day, based on stories about her health), will voters be self-destructive enough to elect her?
I wish Hillary Clinton good health. But I shudder at the thought that we might do just that.
