On May 31, in order to get him back, Barack Obama agreed to release an Islamic terrorist “dream team” of 5 murdering terrorists, responsible for thousands of deaths, who now may continue their murderous ways.
One month before, on March 31, Andrew Tahmooressi, a marine who served two tours of duty in Afghanistan – honorably – was arrested by Mexican police just over the border. In his car were three guns, all legally obtained. Tahmooressi claimed that he accidentally crossed the border. There are no allegations that the guns were used for any illegal activity, they were simply there.
For months, there have been requests, then demands, by numerous groups and members of congress that the President ask, or even pressure, Mexico to release this man. To no avail.
This past Thursday, President Obama had a telephone conversation with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, presumably about the tidal wave of illegals flooding across the border from Mexico. At that time he could have asked that Mr. Nieto intervene on Tahmooresi\’s behalf.
He didn\’t bother.
