The Faith and Freedom Coalition, a conservative, faith-based organization, is currently running a three day “Road To Majority event in Washington DC.
I don\’t know how you feel about this organization\’s aims. But if its idea of being clever is to put a likeness of President Barack Obama in men\’s room urinals adjacent to the conference, so that male members pee on it, the organization is an absolute disgrace.
This is not a joke, folks. Unless photographer Igor Bobic is putting one over on us, this is a for-real picture of one of the urinals:

Anyone who reads this blog knows that I do not have much respect for Barack Obama\’s presidency. If the Faith and Freedom Coalition considers him a failed President, an incompetent, and a dishonest man, we are in agreement.
But that does not change the fact that Mr. Obama is the elected President of the United States.
Putting his likeness in a urinal is sick, vile, and disgusting.
And if this group, in fact, is responsible for doing so (i.e. it is not a set-up by an opposing group – a possibility I have to consider), it owes Mr. Obama – and the rest of us, regardless of how we feel about Mr. Obama – the most abject, contrite apology it can muster. Which I would not blame Mr. Obama for rejecting.
I know I would.
