How catastrophic has the Obama administration been? And how many lies have we been told by Barack Obama and the people around him – not just on silly, inconsequential stuff but on actions and policies which significantly affect us, both in the present and the future?
Ed Lasky, of American Thinker, has written an excellent – therefore frightening – piece on this subject. I am putting up just one paragraph below, which contains a link with what should be required reading for anyone who votes. In doing so, I fervently hope you will use the link I have provided and read every word of Mr. Lasky\’s commentary:
Allthese failures have been justified, explained away or caused by lies(you can keep your insurance, doctor, and save $2500 on premiums;ObamaCare will add not a thin dime to the deficit; a red line thatwas Orwellian-erased when it became an embarrassment; Al Qaeda was onthe run; Benghazi was caused by a video; there was not a “smidgenof corruption” at the IRS). The lies are too numerous to list (hereis a partiallist from last year of 252 examples of lies, law-breaking andcorruption) and that list ever-expanding because, as VictorDavis Hanson wrote, a man who would lie about his mother\’sdeath will “fudge” the truth about anything. And so he has andwill, indeed must, continue to do so.
Regular readers of this blog know that I have discussed every one of these failures over the years – and have also concluded, as Mr. Lasky does, that, for Barack Obama to succeed, our job as voters is to be unthinking, uncomprehending morons who are either incapable of knowing when we are being lied to, or determined not to know.
The scariest part of all? That Mr. Obama has found a great many voters, supplemented by a great many members of his Accomplice Media, who are fully engaged in both activities.
I have never been more fearful of this country\’s future as I am today.
