This is the easiest blog of the day. Because all I have to do is give you this link to Scott Whitlock\’s blog at newsbusters.org concerning the coverage network news has given the VA scandal versus the amount of coverage it gave to the possibility (never shown to be true) that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had some personal involvement in closing a couple of lanes on the George Washington Bridge for four days.
Want a taste of what you will see? Ok. Here\’s just the first paragraph (but be assured there is a ton more):
Innearly four and a half weeks, the ABC, CBS and NBC morning andevening news shows have offered 110 minutes to an evolving Obamaadministration scandal involving secret lists designed to keepveterans from receiving proper medical treatment. Back in January, ittook those same network shows just four and a half daystochurn that much coverage for Chris Christie\’s Bridgegate.
Reminding you once more:
-The VA scandal involves massive corruption, misfeasance and malfeasance, untold numbers of veterans denied care – some losing their lives because of it – and a major cover-up.
-Bridgegate involves a couple of lane closings on the George Washington Bridge for four days.
If anyone has even the slightest doubt about how biased media are, this should put it to rest for once and for all.
