Democrats – wisely, in my judgment – have decided not to boycott the select committee on Benghazi and are sending a full complement of five members.
Even more wisely, they have decided against Alan Grayson being one of them. Every time this man opens his mouth he makes himself and his party look bad.
The five members will be
-Elijah Cummings – Maryland, who will be the ranking member of the group;
-Adam Smith – Washington, the ranking Democrat on the Armed Services Committee;
-Tammy Duckworth – Illinois, who, notably, is an Iraq war veteran who left her legs there.
-Adam Schiff – California;
-Linda Sanchez – California;
My congratulations to Minority Leader Pelosi for treating this committee with the respect it deserves and naming five perfectly credible house members to be part of it.
