MORE NON-EVIDENCE OF TRUMP-RUSSIA COLLUSION

Wow, another day another shocking revelation!

Former CIA head John Brennan on Tuesday told lawmakers that he had seen intelligence showing that people involved in President Trump’s campaign had interactions with Russian officials that “concerned” him.

He insisted that he did not know if there had been any intentional collusion between those campaign associates, whom he declined to name.

In response to direct questioning from Reps. Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) and Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) to provide evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Brennan said he had “unanswered questions” when he left office about the extent to which Russian spies were successful at co-opting U.S. persons to do their bidding.

But he declined to specify whether the influence he was concerned about was “witting or unwitting” — and he pushed back on the demands for “evidence.”

“I don’t do evidence, I do intelligence,” Brennan said, declining to answer the question directly.

Holy you-know what!  Hold the presses!  We just found out that, according to John Brennan:

-Trump and his people interacted with Russians;

-He has no idea whether this involved any campaign collusion;

-And has no evidence that they did.

In other words, another nothingburger.

But you can expect to see news coverage, suggesting that a case of some kind is building – maybe by some of the “stellar reporters” over at “the most trusted name in news”, CNN (are you laughing?  Me too).

I wonder of any of the media people who will be putting this on top of the “evidence” pile, would care to compare Trump and his people’s involvement with Russia to Hillary Clinton and her people.  Now that would be interesting – but not in a way most of these folks would like it to be.

I’ve said it in here before and I’ll say it again.  Based entirely on the evidence – REAL evidence, not imagined or concocted – there is far more reason to believe that Russia would have been colluding with the Clinton campaign than the Trump campaign.
