I just watched the NBC “News” report on President Trump’s trip to Saudi Arabia, and his subsequent stops before returning home.
It was a flat-out, dishonest, negative-spin hit job.
Presenting the news of President Trump’s trip, and his Riyadh speech, in even a remotely honest way didn’t even make it out of the starting gate – right down to Kelly O’Donnell claiming that he did not refer to Islamic terrorism in the speech, then playing a segment of it in which he did exactly that.
Did they assume that their viewers were such complete idiots they wouldn’t notice?
I expect there will be a YouTube or nbcnews.com video of this joke of a report available at some point. If so, I will attach it, so you can see/hear for yourself.
This pathetic exercise in propaganda posing as news should shame NBC to its core.
I guarantee it won’t.

At the 19:40 mark (that’s toward the beginning of the video), you can hear Kelly O’Donnell inform us that Trump was “Discarding his well-worn phrase ‘Islamic terrorism’ for a more subtle approach”.
Then the video of Trump is shown in which he says:
“That means honestly confronting the crisis of Islamic extremism, and the Islamicists, and Islamic terror of all kinds”.
Does that look like a change from “Islamic terrorism” to you?
This is the equivalent of saying an anti-Semite traded in his well-worn phrase “dirty Jews” for a more subtle approach, and then, to prove it, running a video where he refers to them as “stinking Jews”.
Unbelievable? No. Just mainstream media in its current state of self-immolation.
Your assumption that purpose of broadcast/cable news is to inform us of important issues and developments is incorrect.
It is to provide a propaganda forum for long-legged ladies wearing short dresses and semi-modest lingerie – supplemented by unhinged metrosexual or geriatric males.
