MEDIA BIAS? NAAAHHHH…

Who is Terry Jones?  I wonder how many of you remember that name.

Terry Jones was the “pastor” (that\’s using the term loosely) of a congregation numbering, oh, maybe 30 followers in Jacksonville, Florida who, some years ago, threatened to burn a copy of the Koran.  The story became so big – and Jones so elevated – that, for weeks, all we heard about was his threatened outrage, and what it said about the religious intolerance of the Christian right.

Well, now we have this, excerpted from Michael W. Chapman\’s article at cnsnews.com:

ASatanic Black Mass reenactment is scheduled to take place at theQueen\’s Head Pub in Memorial Hall at Harvard University on May 12,with the Mass performed by The Satanic Temple, which is being hostedfor the event by the Harvard Extension Cultural Studies Club.

Anon-consecrated communion host will be used in the reenactment, according to Lucien Greaves, spokesman for The Satanic Temple.

“WhileBlack Masses are supposed to utilize a consecrated host, ours ismerely representative of a consecrated host,” Greaves toldCNSNews.com.  “t is not consecrated. We neither believe innor invoke the supernatural.”

“Tous, the Black Mass is an amalgamation that developed through timebased on witch-hunting fears and later adopted by some as adeclaration of personal Independence against what they felt to be thestifling authority of the church,” said Greaves.

This is not some “pastor” virtually nobody ever heard of.  This is a satanic group conducting a “Mass” for the express purpose of attacking Christianity – at Harvard University.

And the article I just posted is 3 days old.

So tell me: have you seen or heard a thing about it until now?

And what would you conclude, other than that media, which jumped through hoops to defend the sanctity of the Koran, have zero problem with Christianity being trashed?

Media bias?  Naaaahhhhh
