Today’s quote comes to us from Greyson Reynolds, a junior at Oroville (CA) High School.
Young Mr. Reynolds attended what was supposed to have been a town hall meeting featuring Rep. Doug LaMalfa, one of the few Republican house members from California. But, as has become all too common, the town hall meeting was co-opted by organized leftists, with their pre-printed signs and rehearsed slogans, shouting down any attempt by Rep. LaMalfa to discuss or explain his position on issues of local and national importance.
Reynolds who had previously attended a town hall meeting at his high school in which , in which Rep. LaMalfa was able to speak without being shouted down, had this to say:
“I think the immaturity is astounding… (compared to our high school event it was) Night and day. It’s hard to believe that these people are grown adults and those people, the people at my high school are children. You’d think it was the opposite.”
I award Greyson Reynolds Quote Of The Day honors for seeing right through these obviously organized, quite possibly paid-for, fascist agitators.
Another pyrrhic victory for the left. Another reason for people to vote against them next time around.
I don’t have very much regard for political strategists on either side of the aisle. And it has been a long time since I thought Democrats were the less savvy of the two.
But now? Democrats have damaged themselves so completely that Republicans, warts and all, are on top of the heap.
And they still don’t even seem to realize the severity of wounds they are self-inflicting.
Like Mr. Reynolds said: “astounding”.
