On a completely non-polititical note:
A week ago the New York Yankees were 1-4, in last place, and a complete mess.
Today, just seven days later, they are 8-4 with the second best record in baseball (tied with several others) and the scourge of baseball.
That’s how fast things change at the beginning of the season.
When our older son got hooked on baseball, we used to wait until the 25th game, then save the standings and individual players’ statistics on that day, to compare to what they were at the end of the season. The differences always gave us a laugh.
