THE HILLARY COLLAPSE

Here’s something I did not expect to say:  it is starting to look like Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States.

You can take the “pundits” with their electoral maps – the ones who were telling us there was virtually no chance of a Trump victory as recently as a week or two ago – and stuff them in the “self-impressed know-it-alls who actually don’t know a thing” file.

If the latest polls are correct, Trump is holding the states that looked good for him to begin with…and surging in places that he was either losing (Nevada, North Carolina, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Florida, even Virginia), neck and neck (Ohio, Iowa), or should have been winning but was surprisingly competitive in (Arizona, Texas).

If the undecideds and the third-party voters – mostly Gary Johnson people – break for Trump…and it looks like that is what they are doing….he is going to have the last laugh on election night.

And what is Hillary Clinton’s answer to this?  Trotting out Alicia Machado again to whine that Trump called her “Miss Piggy” 20 years ago?

This is supposed to supersede the email and Clinton Foundation scandals that are taking her down?

No one knows who is going to win this race.  Not me, not you, not anyone.

But if the trends we are seeing now continue for the next several days, and still more damaging material comes out about Hillary Clinton’s emails and/or the Clinton Foundation (which is a nearly sure bet), then you can kiss her chances goodbye.
