A JAILABLE SCANDAL

Is this a jailable offense?  You tell me.

From Kathryn Watson’s article at dailycaller.com:

Department of Labor (DOL) officials likely violated federal law when they said they had records requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), then six years later said they didn’t and deleted an email account that proved otherwise, Americans for Limited Government (ALG) said in a FOIA appeal Tuesday.

“At best, this is a case of mismanagement,” ALG President Nathan Mehrens told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “At worst, well, use your imagination. Are they hiding something and trying to run out the clock in order to avoid sunlight into their operations?”

Let’s see:  first admit you have the records.  Then stonewall turning them over for 6 years.  Then claim you don’t have them.  And then delete the evidence.

Is that a jailable offense…the “at worst” Nathan Mehrens refers to?

You tell me.

And while you’re at it, tell me what media would be doing with this if it happened under a Republican administration, instead of the virtually complete burial it has gotten during a Democrat one.

Then tell me if you think there just might be media bias involved…..

  • It seems the media have surrendered to the fact that with the internet we don’t need them anymore. Why else would they so brazenly commit this bias and fraud on a daily basis???
