Today, some media venues are reporting that Hillary Clinton and the Democrat National Committee have been shamed into inviting – well, trying to invite – a couple of pro-police speakers for their convention this week.
Maybe the outcry over their having invited the mothers of three Black men whose killings were magically turned into racial incidents – despite NO EVIDENCE that any of the three were racial at all – and just two of them by police officers – with not one speaker to support the police, had something to do with it.
Maybe the open letter written by Philadelphia Fraternal Order Of Police President John McNesby was the final straw:
It should be interesting to see if they get any.
Given the circumstances under which they are being dredged up, if I were a cop I wouldn’t touch that invitation with a ten foot pole.
