ONE BRIEF, SHINING MOMENT…

“One brief, shining moment.  And then that mouth“

Michael Caine uttered those words in the silly-but-funny movie, Miss Congeniality, after listening to a crude female FBI agent make a meaningful statement, then ruin it at the end.

Which leads us to a man who has proven himself to be every bit as worthless as a Secretary of State as he has been in every other political position he has held (sort of Hillary Clinton, with different plumbing.)

Here is what he had to say about the devastating bomb attacks in Turkey (NOTE:  “Daesh” is a derisive term for ISIS):

Now, yes, you can bomb an airport. You can blow yourself up. That’s the tragedy. Daesh and others like it know that we have to get it right 24/7/365. They have to get it right for 10 minutes or one hour. So it’s a very different scale. And if you’re desperate and if you know you’re losing and you know you want to give up your life, then obviously you can do some harm.

Why did I color that last sentence differently?

Because, until then, Mr. Kerry got it 100% right.  We have to be perfect, and terrorists who don’t care who they kill or if they die while killing them, do not have to be perfect or even close.

But then?  Then Kerry had to toss in the absolutely absurd premise that blowing up a major international airport, killing over 40 people and wounding almost 250 others – some horribly – is a sign of desperation and losing.

No it is NOT, Mr. Kerry.  The fact that ISIS maintains the huge amount of geography it does and the fact that it is operating more or less freely within that territory, as it picks and chooses where to kill the rest of us is NOT losing.

You are either talking like a fool or talking like a liar who wants to sell the American people a 100% phony claim of victory.

And you’re no fool.
