Today’s quote comes to us from Hillary Clinton – who is either the single most insufferable person in the United States or one of the top 10.
Here is her latest mega-whine, about why she lost an election most people thought it was impossible for her not to win:
“If you look at the map of the United States, there’s all that red in the middle where Trump won. I win the coast, I will Illinois, Minnesota, places like that… I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward. And his whole campaign ‘Make America Great Again,’ was looking backwards.”
You know you didn’t like black people getting rights. You don’t like women getting jobs. You don’t like seeing that Indian American succeeding more than you.”
Oh, for God sake.
Hillary Clinton wins Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for doubling, maybe even tripling, down on her “deplorables” stupidity – which, no doubt, contributed so significantly to her loss in 2016.
When does this impossibly obnoxious, whining windbag ever shut the hell up?
When does someone – in her own party, since she damages it so much every time she opens that big mouth of hers – finally, at long last, display enough courage to tell her to do so?
If I were a Republican strategist I would be reminding voters in every one of those states that this is what the head of the Democrat Party thinks of them…and that, wherever true (probably everywhere) their local Democrat candidates fully supported her.
UPDATE: As if in answer, we have this, from Amie Parnes’ article at thehill.com:
Even some of Clinton’s own former aides and surrogates say the former Democratic presidential nominee should back away from the discussion about her failed campaign because it’s harmful to the party.
Finally, realization – combined with the courage to say so?
