MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD: CAMERON WAKES UP…OBAMA CONTINUES TO SNOOZE

The Muslim Brotherhood is a terroristorganization.  CAIR – the Council on American Islamic Relations – is afunded affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood. 

That should mean something to PresidentObama and his administration.  But does it?

Apowerful report by the U.K. government accuses the Muslim Brotherhood of beingsympathetic to terrorists and a risk to British national security, striking acontrast with the Obama administration\’s more conciliatory approach – andfueling criticism that the U.S. government should wake up to the threat. 

Theinternal review of the Muslim Brotherhood was ordered by Prime Minister DavidCameron in April 2014 and while the report is classified, Cameron ordered themain findings of the report to be made public.

Thereport found that supporting Hamas was an important priority for theBrotherhood. It noted that while the group at times has renounced violence,senior figures have repeatedly defended Hamas attacks on Israel and justifiedattacks against coalition forces in the U.S. and Afghanistan.

Also,while the Muslim Brotherhood has criticized Al Qaeda, leaders have claimed thatthe 9/11 attacks were fabricated by the U.S. government, and that the war onterror is merely a pretext to attack Muslim countries.

Thereport concludes that while the Brotherhood has preferred non-violent methodson the grounds of expediency, “they are prepared to countenance violence -including, from time to time, terrorism – where gradualism is ineffective.”

Assuming this report is correct – and myknowledge of how this group has operated suggests strongly that it is – UKPrime Minister David Cameron should be commended for recognizing the MuslimBrotherhood as the dangerous, terrorist-supporting group it is.

Now:  what is preventing US PresidentBarack Obama, and his administration, from doing the same?  Do Mr. Obamaand his people have a different set of facts to show us, which”proves” none of what you just read is true?  

If so, let\’s see those facts.  Ifnot, I\’ll ask again:  what is preventing them from doing the same?

I\’m almost afraid to think of the answer.

Let\’s just say that January 20, 2017 can\’tcome soon enough.
