Sorry for posting so many blogs on James Talarico’s two week absence from the campaign trail, but the story keeps evolving.
Here are two verbatim quotes from Talarico regarding his absence:
Quote #1:
“I was starting to feel kind of under the weather a few days ago, and last night it got so bad that I went to the urgent care here in Dallas. And I was diagnosed with the flu, and so uh I’m running a fever, and I’m my most contagious uh right now.”
Quote #2:
“I just went to my primary care physician, but it wasn’t anything worse than, you know, a nasty case of the flu.”
Where did he go? Urgent care? His primary care physician? These two quotes are contradictory. They can’t both be true.
Which is the true one? Either?
We are being lied to. Period, end of story.
