Are you aware that the December 3 firing-squad execution of terrorist nidal hasan is going to be livestreamed? That, if this directive stays in place, you will be able to tune in and watch it happen?
I read this and coudn’t believe it. But now I’ve also watched a video of Secretary Of Defense saying so. Therefore this not some misunderstanding. It is real. Hegseth intends to make the firing-squad execution a public, tune-in-and-watch-it-happen event.
I’m sure every fan of watching a human being being shot to death must be overjoyed. But the rest of us, I would hope, are sickened to the core of our being at the prospect of effectively turning nidal hasan’s execution into a TV special.
Please understand that this is NOT a commentary on behalf of the terrorist, mass-murdering hasan. I fully agree that this wretched excuse for a human being richly deserves to be executed.
But as a livestreamed event???
Hey, why stop there? Why not make it a pay-per-view event as well. Sell advertising space I’ll bet Raid and d-CON would jump at the chance.
Is Pete Hegseth some kind of unbalanced ghoul? Does he not realize that this is the United States; we’re supposed to have at least a minimal level of decency and decorum here.
I urge President Trump to cancel the livestreaming of this execution immediately. And to insist that Hegseth, at the very least, issue a public apology; preferably his resignation as well.
