Here, via the following excerpt from Craig Bannister’s article at newsbusters.org, is the latest example of how girls’ sports are being destroyed by the “woke” left:
Biological male AB Hernandez continued to dominate high school girls’ sporting events as a transgender athlete on Saturday, taking first place in three jumping events – by wide margins in two of the competitions.
At a postseason California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) track event, transgender Hernandez won the triple jump by nearly three feet and the long jump by more than a foot. He also tied for first in the high jump. Hernandez, a Jurupa Valley High School senior, has sparked outrage in the past for competing against female athletes in both track and volleyball.
What a great idea. A biological boy, with his male body/physical capabilities, declares that he is now a girl, and “competes” against girls in high school sporting events…winning those events. What a proud moment for him.
If I were a high school girl in a state where this insanity is allowed, I would not bother to engage in competitive sporting events. Why bother, when the deck can so easily be stacked against me.
Oh, and then there is the statement made about this situation by California Governor Gavin Newsom.

Fox News Digital sent a request to Newsom’s office for a response to the upcoming protest and competition involving the trans athlete.
A source at the governor’s office provided a statement to Fox News Digital in response.
“The Governor has said discussions on this issue should be guided by fairness, dignity, and respect. He rejects the right wing’s cynical attempt to weaponize this debate as an excuse to vilify individual kids. The Governor’s position is simple: stand with all kids and stand up to bullies,” the statement read.
“California is one of 22 states that have laws requiring students be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school sports consistent with their gender identity. California passed this law in 2013 (AB 1266) and it was signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown.”
There you have it. Gavin Newsom’s brilliant response is that an expectation of girls competing in girl’s sports is a cynical right wing attempt to weaponize the debate, an excuse to vilify individual kids and that we should all stand up to bullies. Besides, I didn’t sign this into law, a previous Governor did.
Does anything in that sorry word salad address the ISSUE of whether biological males should compete in female competitions? If so, please let me in on where it is, because I can’t find it.
In previous blogs I have asked for someone – anyone – to tell me anything of a positive value that Gavin Newsom has done for California in his 7+ years as its Governor. Since the pile of non sequiturs you just read obviously doesn’t qualify, I’m still waiting.
I don’t expect my wait to end any time soon.
