Today’s quote comes to us from the execrable excuse for a United States Senator from Connecticut, chris murphy.
As we decimate Iran’s capability to wage international terror, and expand the opportunity for the people of Iran to take back their country, this is what murphy had to say about the effort:
“This is the most incompetent, incoherent war America has fought in the last 100 years. And that’s saying a lot. This administration has no idea what they are doing. There is no viable war plan. They change their goals and their aims every single day.
“I have great sympathy for our soldiers and our military leaders. They are being given directions by a senile old man who is losing his mind. And so, it’s no surprise that this war is going horribly.”
Yes, he really said that. Yesterday.
In less than two weeks we have decimated Iran’s navy, its air force, much of its ability to fire missiles and drones, and its ability to replenish its supply of them even if it could. We have also killed most of its highest-level command and much of its ability for what’s left of “leadership” to communicate with what’s left of its miltary thugs. In addition, we have have made it nearly impossible for them to continue arming and financing the terror networks (hamas, hezbollah, the houthis) it has kept alive and well until now. And we have maximized the opportunity for Iran’s people to take back their government from these murderers.
But, if you believe murphy – and I pity you if you do – none of this counts. This effort is an abject failure, it has accomplished nothing, and it is being run by a non compos mentis President.
I award chris murphy Quote Of The Day honors, for making so clear what a complete unregenerate sack of pig manure he is. And, terrible though it is to point out, he has plenty of company among his Democrat colleagues.
