Today’s quote comes to us from Minnesota State Legislator Marion Rarick, a Republican who represents the state’s District 29B, which is in central Minnesota – NOT Democrat dominated/overwhelmed Minneapolis or St. Paul.
Here is what Ms. Rarick tells us about what happens to whistleblowers in her state who want to come forward and talk about the beyond-huge amount of $$$ fraud that Governor tim walz and Minneapolis Mayor jacob frey have turned a blind eye to for years and years:
“Retaliation has been going on for quite some time and…retaliation has now escalated….you’re going to lose your job, you’re going to lose your home, we’re going to track your children, we’re going to make sure you can’t get a job anywhere else in state government. And for Minnesota, that means probably Minneapolis, St. Paul and…anywhere that Democrats control.”
Does this surprise you?
I hope not. Because, given the extent of fraud and what has become the obviousness of it – which means that walz and frey knew damn well it was going on and did nothing about it (which clearly benefited them politically and might have benefited them monetarily as well) – I don’t think it should be any surprise at all.
I award Marion Rarick Quote Of The Day honors for saying this out loud, thus risking, at the very least, political retaliation (and who knows how much other retaliation) for doing so. These days, it takes bravery to speak up in this once serious state, that has become, at best, a sick joke and, at worst, some kind of alternate universe within the continental United States.
