Here’s a difference between Australia and the United States we should be proud of.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Monday that five members of a pro-Palestinian extremist group had been arrested in connection with an alleged plot to carry out coordinated bombings in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.
The “credible, imminent terrorist threat” to five locations in Los Angeles came from radical members of an offshoot of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF), Patel claimed in an X post.
Four of the suspects were collared in Lucerne Valley in the Mojave Desert, where the extremists allegedly were testing improvised explosives. A fifth was apprehended in New Orleans while planning a separate attack, according to the FBI boss.
Comparatively….
There have been years of increasingly intense anti-semitic activity in Australia…including a “demonstration” at the Sydney Opera House – barely a half hour from Bondi Beach – with people waving “Palestinian” flags while chanting “gas the Jews” and “fuck the Jews”.
-Knowing this, WHERE was Australia’s law enforcement when there was going to be well-publicized large gathering of Jews on Bondi Beach? How could they not have provided at least some level of security?
-WHERE was Australia’s law enforcement for 10 to 15 minutes AFTER the carnage began? As Jews were being slaughtered? On an effing coffee break?
-And now, AFTER the fact, the Prime Minister tells us how terrible this is and how he’s going to do something about it? What? Contribute to the food served at shiva for the 16 (so far) dead victims?
My congratulations – and thanks – to our FBI for keeping tabs on the rising anti-Semitism in the United States, and DOING something about it. There is no guarantee the FBI will always be successful, but at least we know the effort is being made.
Will Australia (and most of Europe as well) learn from the FBI’s actions? Start protecting its Jewish populations from the violent haters?
I wish I were confident about the answer to that question.
