Today’s quote comes from the current (maybe not for much longer) Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer.
Yesterday during a press conference, a reporter asked him this question about the epstein files:
“Senator…why wouldn’t they have been released the last four years when President Biden was in office?”
And this – (I swear he said it, here’s the video proof) – was Schumer’s exact answer:
“Well, that’s the question every American is asking, not every American but so many Americans are asking, what the hell is he hiding? Why doesn’t he want them released?”.
Yes, for really real, that was Senator Chuck Schumer’s verbatim answer.
I think it would be fair to surmise that Schumer somehow misheard the question (even though it was stated loudly and clearly) and thought he was beng asked about Trump, not Biden.
On the other hand, since the question makes 100% sense if the person in question was Biden, I can’t be sure.
Think about it: Biden & Harris had 100% access to every one of those files for the entire four years they were in office. Once Trump was nominated in July, any damaging epstein-related information about him would have been golden for the Democrat candidate.
Even if you argue that Biden would have timed its release to come out later in the campaign for maximum effect, that doesn’t explain why Harris never released any them.
The most logical possibilities? Either there was nothing incriminating against Trump in the files, or there was something incriminating against Democrats in the files, or both.
So, with that in mind, maybe Schumer – though accidentally, I’m sure – spoke correctly.
I award Chuck Schumer Quote Of The Day honors, for giving us a reason to wonder about it…and for giving the Democrat Party a reason to wonder why he is still its Minority Leader.
