THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from the #2 Democrat in the House of Representatives, House Whip Katherine Clark.

Here, from her comments made on Thursday, is what Clark says Democrats should taking action on:

“(Democrats should) take action in time to make a difference, … whether that is stopping the starvation and genocide and destruction of Gaza, or whether that means we are working together to stop the redistricting that is going on, taking away the vote from people in order to retain power.”

Let’s pass on the redistricting comment – which, of course, doesn’t end with her saying “Let’s also redistrict all those blue states which screwed over Republicans years before Texas decided to return the favor”; like my state, Massachusetts, which has been so grotesquely redistricted that every House member is a Democrat and it has been 29 years since a Republican won a House seat here”. No, that would be too honest.

Let’s concentrate instead on her “starvation, genocide and destruction of Gaza” comment.

I’ll say it again for, seemingly, the millionth time.  The claim that Israel is committing genocide is idiotic on its face. If Israel wanted to commit genocide on Gazans, it could, and would, have bombed their population centers, without warning, any time it wanted, including any time before, or after, the October 7th massacre which (as Clark seems to have forgotten) is what started this war.  T

And the starvation lie is beyond disgusting. Even the UN, which hates Israel’s guts, admits there is plenty of food there, but when it goes into Gaza it is stolen by hamas, which uses it to feed its terrorist membership and sells the rest to Gazans at wildly inflated prices.

As for the destruction?  hamas puts its resources underground and makes sure they are in population centers, often near hospitals and schools. Even Israel haters have had to grudgingly admit as much.  This leaves Israel with NO CHOICE but to bomb in those places…which it does only after warning the citizens to leave; something no other army I am aware of in the history of warfare ever has done.

I award Katherine Clark Quote Of The Day “honors” for giving us such a clear example – one of many – why the Democrat Party is disintegrating right before our eyes, and why it is getting its lowest approval ratings in polling history.

One other thing:  if crime in Washington D.C. goes down, as it almost certainly will with the National Guard there, let’s see how the residents most affected by crime – low and middle income Black citizens – react next year at the voting booths…and how people outside of D.C., regardless of skin color, who are sympathetic to what D.C. Blacks endure there, react as well.
