Today’s quote comes to us from Democrat mayoral candidate zohran mamdani. The words you are about to read come from his speech at the Young Democrat Socialists of America’s 2021 winter conference – after he had just been elected to the New York State Assembly.
Here is what he had to say at that time (the bold print is mine):
“Right now, if we’re talking about the cancellation of student debt, if we’re talking about Medicare for all, you know, these are issues which have the groundswell of popular support across this country. But then there are also other issues that we firmly believe in, whether it’s BDS or whether it is the end goal of seizing the means of production, where we do not have the same level of support at this very moment.”
Translation: mamdani’s mission was then – and is now – to bolster support for the boycott/divest/sanction effort to get rid of Israel, and for government takeover of the means of production, which is straight out of the Marxist handbook.
I award zohran mamdani Quote Of The Day honors for his honesty in telling us what he was really about at that time. Now let’s see whether he either tries to wordsmith it away (with the help/complicity of Democrat-supporting media), or stay honest and admit it is exactly where he still stands to this day.
