THE $93 BILLION DOLLAR PISSAWAY THAT MEDIA HAVE HID FROM US

The following exchange took place during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing this week between Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) and newly appointed (as of February 3) Energy Secretary Christopher Wright…

…when it was revealed that, during the 76 days between the time Donald Trump re-won the presidency and Joe Biden left offfice, the Department of Energy gave out $93 BILLION DOLLARS in loans to a variety of different companies/organizations:

Kennedy:  “The 76-day period you’re talking about, that’s the period between the time that President Trump was elected and President Biden left office. Is that right?”

Wright:  “That is correct”.

Kennedy:  “And during that short period of time, of 76 days, how much taxpayer money went out the door of the Department of Energy?”

Wright:  “From the Loan Program office in loans and commitments, $93 billion dollars.  Well over twice as much as in the 15 previous years.”

Kennedy:  “How do you vet, and do due diligence in 76 days, one loan, much less $93 billion dollars? How do you do it?”

Wright:  “I think it’s probably pretty clear it wasn’t done in many cases. As I mentioned, I’m told I’m holding back clearly in place stuff, there were lots of funds that have gone out the door and  commitments made from businesses that provided no business plan, no numbers about their own financial solvency, or how this project actually worked.”

Kennedy:  “So, so you’re telling me that the Department of Energy in the 76-day period before their boss was gonna leave office, gave or loaned money to, to entities that had no business plan?”

Wright:  “Correct”.

Kennedy:  “No financials?”

Wright:  “Correct”.

There you have it.  $93 billion dollars of taxpayer funds hurriedly pissed away.

To who?  For what?  With how much probability taxpayers will ever see any benefit?  No one knows, no one knows and no one knows.

Here’s another “no one knows for you:  who the EFF approved these loans?  Because it sure as hell wasn’t what was left of Joe Biden.

Now:  is this the first you know about that $93 billion dollar pissaway?  I’m betting it is.

WHY have our allegedly neutral mainstream media not reported on this?

WHY have they not asked anyone in the Biden administration – especially Biden’s Secretary of Energy, former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, why this money was blown away, who got it, and what basis was there for it to be handed out like so much cotton candy at a a carnival?

Did they not ask at all?  Or did they ask, and then hide the answers (or, more exactly, lack of answers) from us?

Do you think for one nanosecond that, if this were the Trump administration blowing $93 billion dollars in unvetted money out the door before the next administration took over, these same media would ignore it?  Would keep it hidden from the public?  If so, I have a nice bridge between Brooklyn and Manhattan to sell you.

How can we possibly trust our mainstream media? How could they be more compromised?
