Today’s quote comes to us from Will Sussman of the Manhattan Institute, a conservative think-tank (yes, “Manhattan” and “conservative” seem pretty incongruous).
It comes from his X account, and concerns elian rodriguez’s murder of two young people at the Jewish Museum in D.C.
Says Sussman:
“A million op-eds will be written about tonight. But I need to say my piece now.
“This didn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s the inevitable result of more than a year of anti-Israel and antisemitic hatred that has been tolerated and even encouraged in our institutions. From college campuses to the halls of Congress, this hatred has been allowed to fester unchecked.
“Tonight’s tragedy will be a wake-up call for many. But for those of us who have been watching closely, the alarm bells have been ringing since October 7. This is what it means to “globalize the intifada.”
I award Will Sussman Quote Of The Day honors for saying, plainly and clearly, a truth that all too many of of our mainstream media and our so-called institutions of higher learning seem increasingly desperate to either ignore, intentionally mischaracterize, or outright lie about.
