The houthi terrorists, who seem to control much if not most or all of Yemen, got lucky a few days ago. They were able to “successfully” hit an area near Ben Gurion airport, injuring 6 people and doing some damage.
I put “successfully” in quotes because of what Israel did in answer: blow up Yemen’s Hodeidah port on the Red Sea, rendering it essentially unusable. See/read about the Hodeidah decimation by clicking here.
In addition, Israel – while not saying it in so many words – has made it crystal clear that it knows the houthis are an owned and operated subsidiary of Iran… and that, at a time and place of Israel’s choosing, it is ready, willing and able to directly punish Iran for the attack as well.
If that isn’t a compelling reason not to bomb Israel, I’d like to know what is.
Too bad, at least until now, it is a lesson the houthis – like the other Iran puppets, hezbollah and hamas – have been immune to learning. Maybe now they’ve gotten the message.
I have exactly zero expectation that this is the case, but I can hope.
