Today’s quote comes to us from Hillary Clinton. It is a message to voters who are having difficulty deciding between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
Here it is:
“Get over yourselves, those are the two choices … And, you know, it’s one of, like, one is old & effective & compassionate, has a heart & really cares about people, & one is old & has been charged with 91 felonies.
“I don’t understand why this is a hard choice, really.”
For some strange reason, Ms. Clinton did not mention that:
-the charges against Trump – other than possibly his possession of classified documents and unwillingness to just hand them over – all filed by left wing Democrats – are ludicrous to the point of laughability (unless you happen to be the one they’ve been leveled against);
-that, based on the Hur investigation, the only reason Joe Biden’s holding of classified documents (all gained BEFORE he was President and, unlike Trump, could not invoke his right to declassify them at will) should not put him on trial and then in jail, is that a jury would give him a pity-pass because it would see him as an amiable old man with a failing memory;
-and that it ignores the many millions Joe Biden and his family got through peddling his power and influence.
I award Hillary Clinton Quote Of The Day honors for reminding us so clearly of how lucky we were that she did not become President.
