Well, the Oscars aired last night. And we learned all about how terrible Donald Trump and Israel are.
Too bad for the purveyors of this information that only 19.5 million people viewed the show – the fourth lowest viewership in its history, with the only lower numbers during the pandemic years.
By contrast, according to John Nolte’s article at breitbart.com, “ten years ago, in 2014, the Oscar telecast drew 43.7 million viewers. Hell, five years ago, in 2019, 30 million tuned in.”
I guess an obnoxious woke-a-thon, hosted by Jimmie Kimmel, the Trump-hating late night TV host, didn’t exactly send the public’s hearts aflutter.
You’ll pardon me if I am not especially troubled….
