WHO KNOWS WHAT?

I was just reading Steven Hayward\’s latest commentary at powerlineblog.com, which talked about a Pew Research Center study, measuring knowledgeability of current events by party affiliation.

As you can see at the bottom of the chart, this study was conducted in late September – almost a month ago.  But without reading Hayward I would not have known a thing about it – as I suspect you didn\’t either.

Please look at the results, and see if you can guess why:

Modest Partisan Differences in News Knowledge

Suppose it were Democrats who knew more about almost every current event than Republicans.  Do you think you would have had to wait this long to find out?

Do you think Pew – or any – research organization would be calling the differences “modest”?

Do you think there would have been this kind of mass blackout from mainstream media?

But listen to them squeal like stuck pigs if you call them biased.
