“Ooooooh,pickles andLittleItaly, This is such a greatday!!“
That quote of the day was provided by our sainted granddaughter who, with her equally sainted brother – was taken by mom and dad to Pickle Day festivities on Manhattan\’s Lower East Side (without going into the reasons, pickles are a big deal in our daughter-in-law\’s family), and then – with some time in between for those little green guys to digest – to nearby Little Italy for pasta, which currently is her hands-down favorite food.
I know it has nothing to do with politics. But, being a Professional Grandpa, and knowing the way she would have emphasized those words, I loved it enough to award her Quote Of The Day honors.
Besides, who would you rather get a quote from? A politician or a four year old beautiful, sweet, smart, funny, dynamic……etc. (fill in as many similar adjectives as you care to).
