It has been well over a year since a sick murderer walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (MSDHS) in Parkland, Florida and opened fire, killing 17 and injuring another 16….
…while Broward County Sheriff scott israel and his useless band of donut deputies did absolutely nothing. The shooter, nikolas cruz, was arrested only after he decided to stop shooting and left the school.
And now, finally, something is being done about it.

The former school resource officer widely branded as a coward for failing to intervene during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting has been arrested for failing to act during the massacre.
Scot Peterson, 56, was arrested Tuesday and charged with seven counts of neglect of a child, three counts of culpable negligence, and one count of perjury, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Rick Swearingen said Peterson did “absolutely nothing” to stop the shooting, which killed 17 and injured 17 others.
It’s about damn time.
scot peterson, by standing around outside the school and doing nothing while cruz used the students and faculty of MSDHS as a human shooting gallery, literally aided and abetted this massacre.
I am no lawyer and don’t know what the punishment is for cowardice that leads to other people’s deaths. But whatever it is, this “man” deserves it.
And he’s not the only one.
