A QUICK QUESTION ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND THE PARKLAND MASSACRE

Are their any high school students in the United States who disagree with David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez?

I ask that question, because these two – primarily Hogg – have been virtually the only representatives of high schools – whether Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida or any other high school anywhere – that media have featured in the news for the past month.

I can’t help thinking that somewhere, maybe even in Parkland, there are students who are not in lock-step with these two.

Just as I can’t help thinking that – based on the immediate organizing of student marches throughout the country – they are being used as fronts for organizations that would rather the public not know they are behind this organizing and these marches.

One other question:  when do we see and hear students who believe that taking away guns from citizens who do not use them illegally and crapping on the NRA are not going to stop school shootings.

I have to believe they exist somewhere – though you’d never know it from the media coverage since Parkland.
