ANOTHER ONE FOR THE “LOST TRIBE” TO RATIONALIZE

As you are no doubt aware, the Obama administration abstained from voting/did not veto, thus allowed passage of, a despicable United Nations resolution, which effectively says Israel does not exist in its current form and its capital city is “occupied territory”.

On Thursday, the United States House of Representatives condemned that resolution. I thought you might be interested in how each party voted:

Republicans: 233 in favor of condemnation, 4 against (one of whom stated he voted against only because he wanted it more strongly worded);

Democrats: 109 in favor, 76 against and four abstentions.

Put another way, 95% of the votes against condemning the UN resolution – thus eviscerating Israel – were cast by Democrats, 5% were cast by Republicans.

Oh, and keith ellison, who is likely to be the next chair of the Democratic National Committee, was one of the “against” votes.

So go to it, Lost Tribers (i.e. Israel supporters who keep convincing themselves to be loyal Democrats).  Time to come up with your next explanation/rationale for why today’s Democrat Party still warrants your loyalty.

I can’t wait to hear this one.
