One shooter in custody. At least three dead and at least 9 injured. Then, reports of a second shooter – no information on this yet.
Initial reports are almost always inaccurate. Let’s hope it has over rather than under-stated the carnage.

Now the estimate is 5 dead.
And there are reports that the name of the first shooter (there may or may not be a second) is esteban santiago. No information other than that.

As of 3:45, the estimates are 5 dead and 8 injured. Authorities believe there was only one shooting incident, not two.
There are reports – unfounded, like everything else I am talking about – that the shooter came into Fort Lauderdale on an Air Canada flight, had a gun checked on the plane, retrieved his gun after deplaning, went into the bathroom where he loaded the gun, and then came out shooting.

5:10PM: The latest is that santiago did not fly on Air Canada. He flew from Anchorage, Alaska (I don’t know which airline) through Minneapolis and then to Florida. There are also reports he is a US citizen and former member of the military who was born in and/or lived in New Jersey.
As with everything else I have posted, this “information” is subject to change.
But one thing which seems to be correct, I am enormously saddened to say, is the report of 5 dead and 8 injured.
