Today we elect a candidate who should never have been anywhere near the White House. A candidate who is deeply flawed. A candidate whose lack of morals and honesty make me cringe at the thought of this person being in charge of the country.
Which of the two am I talking about? Why would you ask, since I described both of them perfectly.
Months ago I said that I was voting for my wife – partly as a protest against the two major candidates and partly because her character and good sense far exceed my alternative choices….
….and partly because, where I live, she already is the Speaker Of The House, so I figure she might as well be everything else.
I also said, months ago, that if I could somehow exorcise the 2016 election from existence, I would happily do so.
Well, nothing has changed. I’m still voting for my wife, and I still wish I could rid us all of 2016.
My beautiful grandmother would not have needed this many words to describe an election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. She could have done it in one word of three letters: “Feh”.
If I were describing it in one word, I’d need a fourth letter.
=======================
UPDATE: OK, my vote is in. If they started the election when I walked into the booth and stopped it when I left, I would be the first…er, Gentleman?
Too bad they didn’t do that. I’d have liked D.C.

Don’t you see what going on in Europe? Where the rape statistics are off the charts due to their open borders policy? One candidate wants that to happen in America, one doesn’t. Don’t you care at all about your granddaughter? Will you be able to look her in the eye and say that in 2016 you stood by your principles?
There are so many reasons why you would/should vote for Trump over Clinton, open borders is near the top of the list.
When this all started I thought I would never vote for Trump. Then when I was left with the choice between Trump and Clinton, never, was much shorter than I ever imagined.
Between the libs, the media and Clinton herself, I couldn’t let the reason I didn’t like Trump outweigh all the problems with Clinton.
The reason I didn’t like Trump was that his bankruptcies hurt smaller businessmen than he is/was. But, he didn’t break the law.
I know my vote for Trump, here in California is only symbolic, but I cast it anyway.
