(NOT) FROM RUSSIA, (NOT) WITH LOVE

Keeping in mind that the source is “Russia Today”……

According to Julian Assange,  the Wikileaks founder who, for weeks, has been releasing increasingly damaging emails from Hillary Clinton and the people around her:

“The Clinton camp has been able to project a neo-McCarthyist hysteria that Russia is responsible for everything. Hillary Clinton has stated multiple times, falsely, that 17 US intelligence agencies had assessed that Russia was the source of our publications. That’s false – we can say that the Russian government is not the source.”

Is he telling the truth?  Well, he’s certainly right about the 17 intelligence agencies – that is a flat-out lie from Hillary Clinton (toss it on the top of the pile).  But whether or not the source is Russia?  Who knows?

On the other hand, if the emails are real – i.e. if they are the actual emails that traveled between Clinton and her people – what does the source have to do with anything?
