Drudge is reporting that Indiana Governor Mike Pence is meeting with the Trump Family today.
Mike Pence is a solidly conservative Republican, whose neanderthal views on social equality have, at least to some extent, seemed to have softened in the last year or two. More on this in future blogs, if Mr. Pence turns out to be Trump’s running mate.
From a political perspective, Mike Pence may not be the best pick Trump could make. But he is at least in the ballpark versus Chris Christie (who, all things considered, is probably the best of the three being talked about most frequently) and quantum leaps ahead of Newt Gingrich.
Now, let’s wait and see who makes the final cut.
