Can we pause the regularly scheduled hagiography of Philandro Castile, to inject the possibility that he was nothing like the prince on earth some people – very much including our way-too-eager-to-push-their-narrative mainstream media – are feeding us?
I would ask you to go to Charles C. Johnson’s gotnews.com article, and at least consider what he has unearthed about Mr. Castile.

And if you do, please be sure to pass the information along to the idiot Governor of Minnesota, mark dayton and jesse jackson, both of whom opened their big, stupid, opportunistically racist mouthes and told us exactly what happened before knowing squat about it.

But the fact remains that you still do not know all the facts of this incident.
You still have not heard one word of the officer’s side.
All you have is a video after the shooting took place. You have no video at all of what happened before, and during, the shooting and therefore no way of knowing why it took place other than his girlfriend’s word.
Let me remind you that, for two years, # blacklivesmatter people and their supporters have been screaming “Hands up, don’t shoot” as if Michael Brown was shot while surrendering – which the autopsy showed to be 100% impossible. That’s what happens when you “know” things you don’t know.
My advice to you is to “know” only what you DO know. And, as of now, the information we have is way too incomplete for conclusions to be drawn.
If he attempted to harm an officer for a routine traffic stop then he completely deserves it.
How do you know what happened? Were you there? Are you Miss Reynolds? You’d have to be an on scene cop, Miss Reynolds or Castile himself to know what happened. All we have is a video taken after the guy was already shot. Don’t make every incident a matter of race and hate.
Again, nothing you can dig up from half a decade ago negates the fact that the man was murdered for NO REASON. The cops are scared racist bitches that need to man up and stop pissing themselves every time a black man or boy is in their presence. It’s disgusting what they did to this man. See you’re assuming what happened. You didn’t see the incident, hopefully there is a video so we will someday really know what happened. Or you can jump on the band wagon and make an ass out of yourself.
We need to wait for the investigation to finish. Damning evidence yes, but we don’t know what really happened. Policeman are not above the law. Read this article you will see there are rogue police, however my question is are you as outrage because the boy is white. It should be all lives matter including our boys in blue.

He still had no right to get shot. He does have his CCW but in a different county of Minnesota. Just because someone is part of a gang, doesn’t automatically make them a criminal. That’s like saying someone who is part of a biker gang is automatically a criminal. Gangs were created so that black mean felt like they belonged somewhere, of course all it did was tear us apart but I digress. Also I’m sorry but a couple of this pictures don’t completely look like him. Maybe he was a Crip, and maybe his girlfriend is a drug ridden white. But still that doesn’t change the fact that he probably didn’t deserve to get shot.
How do you know he didn’t deserve to get shot? There is absolutely no record of this other than the claims of his passenger (who is Black, not White) – and whose concern for Castile was so “sincere” that, as he lay dying, instead of crying, or cradling him, or screaming for help, she got out her cell phone and started taking videos while narrating in an unemotional voice.
What about the gun he had? The one that was not in a glove compartment, not in the back seat, but was right at his side?
For seemingly the millionth time, we do NOT know all the facts and can NOT make final judgments about this yet. Maybe we never will have enough facts to do so. What purpose does it serve to draw conclusions without them? And what purpose does it serve to ignore the facts we do have as they become available?
After the shooting, the officer frantically states on the video “I told him not to reach for IT. I told him to get his hand off of IT”
* What’s the IT he’s referring to?
The picture shows what ***appears*** to be a pistol on his left thigh. If it does turn out to be a gun, this case turns upside down.
* Diamond Reynolds claimed they had their hands up, and he was reaching for his ID. The picture shows his left arm draped underneath the seatbelt, closer to the handle of what appears to be a gun, than closer to his front or back pocket where his ID would presumably be kept.
Pictures don’t show if there is a middle console between the driver and passenger seat where his ID may have been stored, but the arm would likely not have been under the seatbelt if diamond Reynolds story is accurate.
Whilst we can’t know what we don’t know, we have heard the radio dispatch call made by the officer, claiming he was pulling the car over because the driver resembled the robbery suspect from July 2. The fact that the robbery occurred only 3 miles away, on the same road, clearly indicates the stop was reasonable and not a case of racial profiling.
Let’s wait until all of the information is in, but we’ve been down this road before in which one side of the story was told, and believed, without all of the facts being known.
In the moment is when you are likely going to get closer to the truth than at any other time, and the fact that the cop told him to get his hand off of IT would seem to suggest there was a gun in plain sight.
Excellent comment Michael. I never made the connection that the officer did say “it” in the video. What I did notice and posted elsewhere is that at the start of the video the woman says he was reaching for his license to comply with the police officers instructions when he was shot and then later when she was in the back of the police car she says he was putting his hands up to comply with the police officers instructions when he was shot.
Excellent comments Just Saying, When I saw the pictures of the suspect from the robbery and the photo of Castile I didn’t think they looked like the same guy either. But it was close enough I could see why the officer would stop him to check it out. Also when the information about the carry permit came out my first thought was maybe he got it from a different agency. But I don’t know that to be the case. I am hoping we get more information about the carry permit.
As time goes by we get more informtion [facts] and it isn’t as certain what happened as the video made it seem. That is why it is best not to jump the gun before you know what all the information is. I still don’t know what the 100% truth is and I have a lot more info than I did on the day it happened. I hope everyone can take a step back and wait until all the facts are known.
He’s a squeaky clean grade school lunchroom server with a concealed carry permit. No criminal record. Pulled over having committed no crime. While you guys are speculating if he reached for his gun, can you speculate why he would he suddenly want to become a cop killer?
Also, if he did want to kill cops, why wouldn’t he already have his gun out ready? Instead of reaching for it when they had a bead on him?
