It was not enough that, in their effort to complete a “deal’ with Iran – the single most prolific exporter of terrorism in the world – Barack Obama and John Kerry caved in on almost every major issue. It had to put Israel in mortal danger too.
From an unsettling – but entirely predictable – article in today’s Times of Israel:
A senior Iranian military commander boasted that the Islamic Republic could “raze the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes.”
Ahmad Karimpour, a senior adviser to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ elite unit al-Quds Force, said if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei gave the order to destroy Israel, the Iranian military had the capacity to do so quickly.
“If the Supreme Leader’s orders [are] to be executed, with the abilities and the equipment at our disposal, we will raze the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes,” Karimpour said Thursday, according to the semi-official Fars News Agency.
A senior Iranian general on May 9 announced that the country’s armed forces successfully tested a precision-guided, medium-range ballistic missile two weeks earlier that could reach Israel, the state-run Tasnim agency reported.

“We test-fired a missile with a range of 2,000 kilometers and a margin of error of eight meters,” Brigadier General Ali Abdollahi was quoted as saying at a Tehran science conference. The eight-meter margin means the “missile enjoys zero error,” he told conference participants.
According to the UN decision, “Iran is called upon not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology,” until October 2023.
Do I believe that Iran truly has the capability of vaporizing Israel in 8 minutes, or that the weaponry it would use to do it is that accurate? No I do not.
But what if they do?
When Obama, Kerry & Co. led the negotiations with this hate-ridden genocidal regime, this is what they freed up all those billions of dollars to do.
Is anyone surprised by this? If so, why? What have the lunatics in Iran ever said or done that would make anyone think they’re objectives would be anything different?
Let me end with a few notes:
Note to the “Lost Tribe” (the Jews, and non-Jews, who support Israel but have always rationalized support of Obama as well). Congratulations. You aided and abetted this situation. You deserve some of the credit too.
Note to the Palestinian Arabs in Gaza and Judea/Samaria (the west bank) who, I suspect, are thrilled over this: Those missiles don’t distinguish between Jewish and non-Jewish residents. They don’t magically leave everything over the Israeli border intact. If Iran’s missiles do what Iran says they do, you will be eliminated just as quickly and just as completely as the Jews you hate.
And one final note – to Barack Obama and John Kerry: if Israel, which has just been told by Iran’s military that all it would take is an OK from khamenei and the country is gone in 8 minutes, decides that, in order to exist, it must attack first, what will you say to them? “Israel shouldn’t have done that”? “Israel should have exercised restraint”?
YOU are the ones who put Israel in this position. I hope you’re damn proud of it.
